On March 5, Envision AESC proudly announced the official commencement of production for its first-generation sodium-ion battery cell, heralding a significant milestone in the widespread adoption of sodium-ion battery technology. This innovative cell is engineered to deliver stable performance across an exceptionally broad temperature spectrum, boasting ultra-high rate capability, energy density, and efficiency. These attributes render it highly adaptable for a diverse range of applications.

By 2025, Envision AESC will have achieved the mass production of the industry's first large-format lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells with capacities exceeding 500Ah and 700Ah. As of now, the company has successfully delivered over 100GWh of energy storage cells on a global scale.
