On March 3, data from Qichacha showed that the number of registered optical chip-related enterprises in China reached 50,700 in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 22.6% and hitting a new decade-high. Over 30% of these enterprises are located in East China, accounting for 34.2%. As of March 3, 2026, a total of 5,191 optical chip-related enterprises have been registered in China.
