At MWC 2026, Intel previewed its next-generation Xeon 6+ (Clearwater Forest) processor. The processor, which was unveiled in early October 2025, made its debut in the telecommunications sector for the first time without any reduction in its full specifications. It adopts a Chiplets design, incorporating up to 12 Intel 18A process compute tiles, 3 Intel 3 process active base tiles, and 2 Intel 7 process I/O tiles, featuring up to 288 cores (288 threads) and a dual-socket configuration supporting up to 576 cores. It also includes multi-channel memory and high-speed channels, with a thermal design power of 300-500W.
