Recently, Intel's Bartlett Lake series Core i9-273PQE processor, tailored for edge computing and embedded applications, has surfaced on consumer-grade platforms. User Talon2016 has shared an actual photo of this processor installed on an LGA 1700 motherboard. The CPU top cover identification, also known as the "label" or "marking", reveals that this engineering sample bears the batch number X544L164 and the S-Spec code SA4Q9.
The Core i9-273PQE boasts a unique design with 12 pure performance cores (P-Cores), capable of reaching a maximum turbo frequency of 5.9GHz and equipped with 36MB of L3 cache. It stands out as the sole flagship model in the Bartlett Lake series to feature 12 pure performance cores, entirely forgoing the inclusion of efficiency cores (E-Cores).
