On February 28th, Fudan University played host to the 2026 Terahertz Summit Forum and the Inaugural Meeting of the Terahertz Innovation Alliance. Under the guidance of the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Terahertz Innovation Alliance was formally inaugurated. The alliance, a collaborative effort spearheaded by 15 universities, research institutions, and leading tech companies, welcomes 66 organizations as its inaugural governing members. Its mission is to consolidate China's domestic innovation resources within the terahertz domain, spur technological advancements, and fuel industrial growth. This move signifies the official establishment of a cooperative innovation framework in China's terahertz industry, uniting 'universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises' in a synergistic endeavor.
