AMD released the Ryzen AI 400 Series notebook processors, codenamed Gorgon Point, in early 2026. This series is considered an overclocked version of the Ryzen AI 300 Series, featuring the same core architecture but with improved frequencies. Notably, the flagship model, Ryzen AI 9 HX 475, boasts an NPU computing power of 60 TOPS and a maximum boost frequency of 5.2GHz. Additionally, the Ryzen AI 400 Series will make its first foray into the desktop segment with the introduction of an APU series, primarily focusing on the PRO series for commercial use. It is anticipated that the desktop version will feature higher frequencies and power consumption compared to its mobile counterpart. These notebook processors are expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2026, with the desktop versions following in the second quarter.
