Memory prices have been on a steep upward trajectory for nearly six months, with expectations of them staying elevated. Nevertheless, in Europe, certain DDR5 memory modules have exhibited a downward trend in pricing. Based on observations by netizens, the cost of a 32GB DDR5 memory kit, which had maintained a stable price range of €95-100 since September of the previous year, surged to €430-470 last month, only to fall recently to €370-420. Among the five 32GB DDR5-6000/6400 memory modules tracked by Tom's Hardware, the prices of two products from Corsair and Kingston have also witnessed a decrease. However, it's crucial to note that this is merely a trend observed in select products and is significantly influenced by factors such as geographical location, distribution channels, and tax rates. Therefore, it does not necessarily indicate a broad cooling-off period across the entire memory industry. The domestic market mirrors this scenario, with the majority of DDR5 memory modules maintaining high prices or even experiencing further increases, although some products have undergone minor price reductions.
