Apple is considering collaborating with ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) and Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) to supply memory and storage chips for products such as the iPhone 18 series, MacBook, and desktop Macs. Previously, Apple had already included YMTC in the iPhone 14 supply chain, but whether CXMT and YMTC can enter the iPhone 18 supply chain remains uncertain due to updates and subsequent withdrawals from the U.S. Department of Defense's list.
