The UK consumer advocacy group Which? has decided to terminate its five-year-long legal dispute with Qualcomm. The lawsuit had accused Qualcomm of artificially inflating prices for iPhone modems. In the end, the two parties have come to an undisclosed settlement. Which? has stated that the court's findings would confirm that Qualcomm did not breach competition laws, nor did its actions result in higher prices for consumers buying mobile phones. Consequently, Qualcomm will not be required to pay any compensation.
