A research team led by Professor Lu Haizhou from the School of Integrated Circuits at Southeast University and Professor Ji Wenyu from Jilin University, in collaboration with Professor Tang Aiwei from Beijing Jiaotong University and Professor Yang Yingguo from Fudan University, has published a groundbreaking study titled 'Ordered 3D/2D Heterojunctions Enable Highly Efficient Perovskite Electroluminescence' in the journal Nature. The research team constructed 3D/2D ordered heterojunction perovskite films in situ using a 'one-step method,' successfully increasing the external quantum efficiency of green perovskite electroluminescent devices to 42.9% (third-party certified as 42.3%), setting a new world record for such devices. This achievement lays a theoretical foundation for high-efficiency perovskite display technology and demonstrates the enormous potential of perovskites in high-end display and solid-state lighting applications.
