In early 2025, a number of AMD users encountered compatibility snags with ASRock AM5 motherboards. These issues manifested as either Ryzen processor burnout or an inability to boot up the system. This Wednesday, ASRock rolled out a fresh BIOS version (v4.10) tailored for its AM5 series motherboards. This update incorporates the AGESA 1.3.0.0a microcode, specifically designed to eliminate system boot failures and bolster overall system stability.
The new BIOS update encompasses several key enhancements. Firstly, there's an upgrade to the AGESA version. Additionally, it optimizes memory compatibility, ensuring smoother performance when using different memory modules. Moreover, it brings targeted improvements to address specific CPU boot failure issues. In total, this update supports 20 motherboard models spread across 5 series.
