On the afternoon of February 13, the Shanghai Composite Index and the ChiNext Index both fell more than 1%, while the Shenzhen Component Index dropped by 0.97%. The oil and gas, as well as non-ferrous metals sectors, led the decline, with over 3,000 stocks falling across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets.
