Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology unveiled the "Shenzhen 'AI Plus' Advanced Manufacturing Action Plan (2026-2027)". This strategic blueprint advocates for the integration of artificial intelligence technology into pivotal stages of the semiconductor industry chain. It envisions harnessing AI to boost efficiency in critical domains like chip design and software coding. Taking AI chips as the starting point, the plan sets its sights on fortifying the semiconductor sector by crafting high-performance, energy-efficient specialized SoC (System on a Chip) main control chips. These chips are meticulously designed to meet the terminal requirements of AI-enabled phones, AI glasses, intelligent robots, and other cutting-edge devices. Simultaneously, the plan extends its support to innovative architectural processors, such as those utilizing in-memory computing, to further drive the industry's evolution.
