On February 9th, during an investor relations event, Minde Electronics disclosed that Guangxin Microelectronics' planned monthly production capacity for Phase I is set at 100,000 units of 6-inch silicon-based power devices. The company is making steady progress in ramping up production, with an anticipated monthly capacity of 6,000 wafers by early 2025, projected to surge to 40,000 wafers by the year's end. Presently, the products undergoing mass production encompass MOS Field Effect Rectifiers (MFER, with a voltage range spanning from 45V to 200V) and Vertical Double-Diffused Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (VDMOS, covering a voltage range from 60V to 2,000V). The monthly production output stands at roughly 12,000 wafers for MFER and 26,000 wafers for VDMOS.
