On February 9, STMicroelectronics announced the deepening of its strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), entering into a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar commercial partnership spanning multiple product categories. According to the collaboration, STMicroelectronics will become a strategic supplier of AWS's advanced semiconductor technologies and products, with these technologies to be integrated into AWS's computing infrastructure. STMicroelectronics stated that this collaboration is broad in scope, offering a variety of semiconductor solutions, including exclusive technical capabilities for high-bandwidth connectivity. These solutions encompass advanced microcontrollers for high-performance mixed-signal processing and intelligent infrastructure management, as well as analog and power integrated circuits that meet the energy efficiency requirements of hyperscale data centers.
