A-Share Market Sees Collective Surge, CPO Concept Leads the Way

On February 9, 2026, the three major indices of China's A-share market experienced a collective upward movement. Specifically, the Shanghai Composite Index climbed by 1.41%, the Shenzhen Component Index surged by 2.17%, and the ChiNext Index soared by 2.98%. Leading the charge were concepts related to Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), short-form drama games, and lab-grown diamonds. Notably, COL Digital Publishing and Huanghe Whirlwind achieved the daily price limit, while shares of Tianfu Communication and Hgtech soared by over 17%. On the flip side, sectors such as oil and gas, beverages, and gases witnessed notable declines. Shanxi Blue Flame Holding fell by more than 2%, Delonix New Energy Group saw a drop exceeding 1%, and Dongpeng Beverage declined by 0.65%.
