On February 5th, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association convened a seminar in Beijing to review the photovoltaic industry's development trajectory in 2025 and to cast a forward-looking eye on the prospects for 2026. The meeting highlighted that during the '15th Five-Year Plan' era, the pace of newly installed photovoltaic capacity growth, both globally and within China, is set to experience a notable deceleration. Furthermore, crystalline silicon photovoltaic technology is nearing its theoretical limits, leading to a diminishing return on cost reductions and efficiency enhancements. Consequently, photovoltaic enterprises must rise to the occasion, tackling the challenges associated with high-quality development and fervently seeking out fresh avenues for breakthroughs.
