On January 30, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled the operational statistics for the electronic information manufacturing sector in 2025. The figures reveal that revenues for enterprises above the designated scale soared to RMB 17.4 trillion, marking a 7.4% year-on-year surge. Correspondingly, operating costs climbed to RMB 15.1 trillion, reflecting a 6.9% annual increase. Total profits, on the other hand, skyrocketed to RMB 750.9 billion, boasting an impressive 19.5% year-on-year jump. Moreover, the profit margin of operating revenue stood at 4.3%, a notable uptick of 0.2 percentage points compared to the period from January to November.
