In 2025, Raspberry Pi officially declared a price hike for its products, a move triggered by the soaring demand for memory. As memory prices kept spiraling upward in 2026, Raspberry Pi decided to raise the prices of several products again. This price adjustment encompassed all Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 5, Compute Module 4, and Compute Module 5 models that came with a minimum of 2GB of memory. The maximum price increase per unit reached a staggering $60.
Specifically, the 4GB and 8GB variants of the Raspberry Pi 4 saw their prices jump from $55 and $75 to $60 and $85, respectively. Similarly, the Raspberry Pi 5 models, ranging from 2GB to 16GB, also experienced price increases, with the highest increment hitting $25.
