On the evening of January 29, IC design company Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation held a press conference to announce that its key foundry partner Powerchip had officially notified it that, due to internal production capacity allocation strategy adjustments, it would cease accepting orders for the production of some of Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation's main products starting from the second quarter of 2026. Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation stated that it had immediately begun evaluating and actively seeking other wafer foundry companies as alternative capacity sources. The currently available supply capacity could still meet its current operational needs, and it had the capability to achieve its sales targets for 2026.
