On January 28, SK keyfoundry, an 8-inch pure wafer foundry in South Korea, announced the official launch of its fourth-generation 200V high-voltage 0.18-micron BCD process and commenced comprehensive product development with major domestic and international customers, aiming to achieve mass production within the year. This process supports higher voltage tolerance and superior power density, making it suitable for high-reliability applications such as automotive electronics and industrial power supplies. Compared to the previous generation, it achieves optimizations in on-resistance, switching losses, and electrostatic discharge protection performance.
