China Microelectronics has officially announced a price increase, explaining that the current landscape of the chip industry is characterized by a tight supply, escalating costs, extended lead times for packaged finished products, and ongoing surges in expenses related to frameworks, packaging, testing, and more. These factors have collectively led to a significant rise in production costs. In light of the acute supply-demand imbalance and mounting cost pressures, the company has made the decision to adjust the prices of its MCUs and Nor Flash products, effective immediately. The new pricing will reflect an increase ranging from 15% to 50%.
