On January 22, Guangzhou XIN Semiconductor commenced its fourth-phase project in Guangzhou, marking a significant investment of 25.2 billion yuan. This ambitious endeavor aims to set up a production line capable of manufacturing 40,000 12-inch wafers per month, leveraging advanced digital-analog hybrid specialty processes. The production line will encompass process nodes ranging from 65nm to 22nm. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2029, the project is poised to precisely cater to the escalating demands of cutting-edge sectors, including AI, edge AI, industrial electronics, and automotive electronics.
