Data released by the Korea Customs Service reveals that, between January 1 and 20 of this year, South Korea's overall export volume soared to US$36.4 billion, marking a significant 14.9% year-on-year increase. Notably, semiconductor exports experienced a remarkable 70.2% growth, contributing to 29.5% of the total export volume. This represents a substantial 9.6 percentage point rise compared to the same period last year, thereby spearheading the overall export expansion.
