SK Hynix, a leading company in the memory sector, has successfully completed a process upgrade at its factory in Wuxi, China, advancing DRAM production from the 1z nm process to the more advanced 1a nm process. Currently, the monthly DRAM production capacity of the Wuxi factory reaches 180,000 to 190,000 12-inch wafers, with approximately 90% already upgraded to the 1a process. In DRAM technology, 1z represents the third-generation 10-nanometer-level process, while 1a denotes the fourth generation.
