As per reports from U.S. media outlets, subsequent to the ban on the H200 chip's importation into China, producers of crucial components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), have ceased their manufacturing operations. Suppliers have clarified that these components are exclusively tailored for the H200 and lack the versatility to be adapted for alternative applications. Given the prevailing regulatory ambiguities, suppliers have opted to halt production as a precautionary measure to prevent an excessive accumulation of inventory. Additionally, several prominent technology firms have already rescinded a portion of their H200 orders and have recalibrated their procurement strategies accordingly.
