The Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China has unveiled its recommendations for formulating Shanghai's 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development. The plan explicitly highlights that Shanghai will concentrate on six pivotal domains: future manufacturing, future information technology, future materials science, future energy solutions, future space exploration, and future healthcare.
