Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on the X platform that the design of the AI5 chip, used in the company's full self-driving system, has been largely completed and is about to enter mass production, while early research and development of the next-generation AI6 chip has already commenced. Tesla plans to shorten the chip iteration design cycle to 9 months to maintain its technological lead.
