The Ministry of Commerce has released Announcement No. 3 of 2026, stating that anti-dumping duties on solar-grade polysilicon imported from the United States and South Korea will remain in effect for an additional five years, commencing on January 14, 2026. This decision is based on the assessment that discontinuing these measures could lead to a resurgence of dumping practices and subsequent economic harm. The duties will be calculated as a percentage of the customs-assessed value, following the formula: duty amount = customs-assessed value × duty rate.
