On December 5, 2025, the Office of the Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Sci-Tech Journals issued a notice announcing the list of high-starting-point new journals approved this year. Among them, the English journal Advanced Electronics and Microsystems, initiated and applied for by the School of Integrated Circuits at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was successfully selected and approved to enter the construction sequence of national high-level sci-tech journals.
