In recent years, TSMC has ramped up its overseas expansion efforts, outlining plans to invest as much as $165 billion in the U.S. market. Future investments could even surge to $200 billion or beyond. Alongside these investments, TSMC will also transfer its cutting-edge processes, advanced packaging technologies, and comprehensive personnel training programs. In Arizona, TSMC has successfully wrapped up the initial phase of its factory construction, now capable of producing chips using the 5nm (N4) process. Notably, tech giants Apple, AMD, and NVIDIA have all become customers of TSMC's U.S.-based factory.
