The design phase has already been wrapped up, aiming for swift commercialization. This development suggests that Samsung is on the verge of reclaiming Qualcomm's foundry order for its most cutting-edge chip after a five-year absence. The initial order might entail transitioning the current Snapdragon 8 Elite processor—currently manufactured using TSMC's 3nm process—to a 2nm process.
