Among them, the AI chip MI455 is a component of the company's data center server racks and is sold to customers. Meanwhile, she also unveiled the MI440X chip, specifically designed for enterprise on-premises deployment. During Monday's event, OpenAI President Greg Brockman shared the stage with Lisa Su, emphasizing the importance of advancements in chip technology for OpenAI's massive computational needs. Addressing the future requirements of companies like OpenAI, Lisa Su previewed the MI500 chip, stating that its performance has improved by 1000 times compared to earlier versions, and indicated that the chip will be launched in 2027. Additionally, AMD released the Ryzen AI 400 series processors for AI PCs, as well as the Ryzen AI Max+ chip for on-premises inference and gaming.
