Its Phase I factory primarily produces chip products with 40/28nm and 16/12nm processes, which have been in mass production for over a year. Currently, the construction of its Phase II factory is underway. However, the construction of the Phase II factory has been suspended since it commenced in October. Originally planned to upgrade to the 6/7nm process, TSMC suspended the construction due to sluggish demand for this process and a scarcity of customers after completion, and is now seeking a new plan.
