On December 18, Inner Mongolia Guiyuan Xin'neng Electronic Material Technology Co., Ltd. launched the official operations of its Phase I project at the Dalu Industrial Park, located in Jungar Banner, Ordos City. This project boasts an impressive annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of silicon-carbon anode materials, marking it as the world's inaugural endeavor to achieve ton-scale mass production of CVD silicon-carbon anode materials.

Leveraging the fluidized bed coating technology developed by Tsinghua University, this project is set to produce a novel third-generation of CVD silicon-carbon anode materials. These cutting-edge materials promise to significantly enhance the energy density of battery cells and boost the efficiency of the first-charge cycle. Moreover, they effectively address the issue of battery swelling. By incorporating these advanced anode materials, the driving range of new energy vehicles can be extended by roughly 30%, while the volumetric energy density can see an increase of up to 50%.
