Micro LED manufacturer PlayNitride announced on December 16 that its board of directors resolved to acquire 100% of the equity in Lumiode, Inc., a US-based Micro LED display technology company, for 2 million US dollars (approximately 14.0876 million yuan) in cash, in order to expand its operational footprint in the US market and enhance its international competitiveness.
