The three principal indices of A-shares commenced trading on a positive note. The Shanghai Composite Index registered a modest increase of 0.05%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index advanced by 0.48%. The ChiNext Index, on the other hand, witnessed a more substantial rise, climbing 0.89%. Leading the charge were the semiconductor and communication equipment sectors. Amidst this bullish atmosphere, the newly listed stock, N Youxun, stole the limelight by skyrocketing 364.58% on its inaugural trading day. Shengyang Technology also experienced a notable uptick, surging over 9%, while both Risen Energy and Wanlong Optoelectronics saw their shares appreciate by more than 6%. Conversely, the shipping and precious metals sectors faced a downturn, with China Merchants Energy Shipping experiencing a decline exceeding 3% and COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation witnessing a drop of over 2%.
