AMD is gearing up to launch two new additions to its 9000X3D processor lineup: the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D made a brief appearance on AMD's official website before, and now, overseas retailers have prematurely listed it, unveiling its pricing details for the very first time.
U.S.-based retailer SHI has set the price at $553.09 (approximately RMB 3,895), while a Swiss retailer has it listed for CHF 473.55 (roughly RMB 4,192). Industry experts speculate that these prices are merely placeholders, suggesting that the final pricing could be more competitive.
The Ryzen 7 9850X3D is equipped with 8 cores and 16 threads. Its boost frequency has seen a notable increase, jumping from 5.2GHz to 5.6GHz, while maintaining a base frequency of 4.7GHz. The cache size remains steady at 104MB, and it operates with a TDP of 120W.
On the other hand, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 features a dual-CCD design, boasting a massive 208MB cache. It comes with 16 cores, a boost frequency of 5.6GHz, and a base frequency of 4.3GHz.
