Against the backdrop of promoting independent innovation in the chip industry and building an open and collaborative ecosystem, the Shanghai Open Processor Industry Innovation Center (SOPIC) officially opened in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, on December 12, 2025. At the concurrent RISC-V patent pool entry ceremony, S2C, as one of the first batch of companies to join the pool, had its president Lin Kaipeng sign on behalf of the company to include designated patents in the pool. This marks a new step forward for S2C in jointly building an open, secure, and collaborative RISC-V ecosystem.
