On December 15th, as the trading session drew to a close, the three principal U.S. stock indices experienced a collective downturn. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day down by 0.09%, the Nasdaq Composite Index retreated 0.59%, and the S&P 500 Index saw a 0.16% decline. Within the realm of large-cap technology stocks, the losses outweighed the gains. Arm's shares plummeted more than 4%, while Netflix, Amazon, and Apple each witnessed a drop exceeding 1%. Microsoft and Google also experienced minor setbacks. In contrast, Tesla's stock soared over 3%, and Nvidia posted a modest uptick. The majority of popular Chinese concept stocks also ended in the red, with Baidu's shares tumbling more than 4%, Alibaba and XPeng Motors falling over 3%, Li Auto declining more than 2%, and Pinduoduo and Tencent Music both dropping more than 1%. Weibo, NetEase, and NIO, meanwhile, saw only slight decreases.
