Recently, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) announced the list of newly elected Fellows for the year 2026. Professor Tong Meisong from the College of Electronic and Information Engineering at Tongji University was successfully elected for his outstanding contributions in the field of computational electromagnetics methods. Professor Tong Meisong has long been engaged in teaching and research in the fields of electromagnetic fields and microwave antenna technology. He has published over a hundred papers in international authoritative academic journals, authored 8 monographs and textbooks, holds over 40 authorized invention patents, and has received more than 50 research awards.
