On December 11, Gree Electric Appliances announced on its interactive platform that its silicon carbide chip factory, operating on the principles of "autonomous control and open contract manufacturing," has successfully established a state-of-the-art silicon carbide wafer production line within China. This facility caters to a diverse array of customer segments, including new energy vehicles, photovoltaic energy storage systems, industrial control applications, and household appliances. By doing so, it is steadily propelling the adoption and substitution of domestically manufactured silicon carbide chips across a multitude of scenarios.
