During the regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on December 11, spokesperson He Yadong addressed inquiries regarding Nexperia Semiconductors. He elaborated that Wingtech Technology had recently extended invitations, via letters, to the independent directors and equity custodians of Nexperia Netherlands. The purpose of these invitations was to facilitate their visit to China for consultations centered on corporate governance and the reinstatement of a stable, unobstructed supply chain, thereby showcasing a genuine commitment to resolving the issue at hand. The Chinese side has formally requested, through the Dutch Embassy in China, that the Dutch authorities honor the consultation agreement and encourage Nexperia Netherlands to expedite the process of sending representatives to China.
