On December 10, during an institutional research visit, Intellifusion disclosed that, as a pioneer globally in proposing the concept of NPU-powered AI inference chips and successfully commercializing them, the company has accomplished the research, development, and commercial deployment of four generations of NPUs. Throughout the R&D journey, the company has secured numerous invention patents and forged exemplary application scenarios across diverse sectors. This has played a pivotal role in fostering the robust growth of a standardized ecosystem for China's neural network processor chip sector. At present, Intellifusion's Nova 500 series, which is still under development, is poised for a comprehensive upgrade to the GPNPU architecture. This upgrade will bring about remarkable enhancements in ecological compatibility, performance, and energy efficiency, thanks to the integration of 3D stacked memory and a software-hardware collaborative design approach. Consequently, the Nova 500 series will be even better suited for AI inference scenarios.
