As the White House unveiled the "2025 U.S. National Security Strategy" and the United States recalibrated its global strategic approach, the first notable shift has materialized. On December 8 (U.S. time), former President Trump took to social media to declare that, under certain conditions, NVIDIA would be permitted to resume selling its H200 artificial intelligence chips to China. Previously, due to a series of U.S. policies, NVIDIA witnessed a substantial decline in its market share within China, with it plummeting to zero at one juncture. The recent lifting of this ban is widely perceived as an effort by the U.S. to regain a foothold in the Chinese market. However, NVIDIA has already missed its prime window of opportunity and now finds itself facing intense competition from domestic Chinese chip manufacturers.
