In December 2025, Lingguang Infrared is set to unveil its commercial laser-induced resistance change equipment, the LaserSight series. This marks the completion of a comprehensive domestic lineup for electrical failure analysis tools: Thermal/EMMI/OBIRCH (TIVA).

OBIRCH technology works by using laser scanning to pinpoint defects causing resistance changes in chips. Alongside Thermal and EMMI, it is recognized as one of the three standard techniques for electrical failure analysis. Until now, this technology and its corresponding equipment were exclusively controlled by a handful of foreign companies, such as Japan’s HA** and the United States’ FE*.

Lingguang Infrared’s LaserSight series breaks this foreign monopoly, achieving a true domestic alternative. Its performance matches that of top-tier imported models. Multiple units have already been delivered and are running smoothly in operation.
