On November 28, 2025, news surfaced indicating that AMD is broadening its product range for the Radeon AI PRO R9000 series GPUs, which are built on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture. The official support webpages for the two newly introduced graphics cards, namely the Radeon AI PRO R9700S and the Radeon AI PRO R9600D, are now up and running for public access.

Specifically, the “S” in R9700S is an abbreviation for “Server.” This model is anticipated to be a fanless, passively cooled variant, specifically designed to cater to the needs of the small- and medium-sized data center server market. As for the R9600D, it's likely a scaled-down version of the R9700. Both of these graphics cards are powered by the “Navi 48” GPU core and come with a substantial 32GB of GDDR6 memory. Moreover, they have already garnered support in the Radeon Software for Linux 25.30.1 driver, which was rolled out on November 26.
