NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, recently made a short trip with his family to visit TSMC before heading to the United States. During an airport interview, he weighed in on several pressing issues, including the recent departure of TSMC executives to Intel with confidential information, safeguarding NVIDIA's sensitive data, and the availability of AI chips. Huang lauded TSMC as one of the most remarkable companies in human history and highlighted the strong collaboration between the two firms, noting that NVIDIA's next-generation Rubin chip is already in full-scale production. Addressing concerns about sensitive information security, Huang stressed that NVIDIA's chips are designed without any backdoors. Regarding the supply of AI chips, he disclosed that demand for the Blackwell chip is exceptionally high, and TSMC is making significant efforts to fulfill the related orders.
