On November 21, during Moore Threads' online investor exchange meeting for its upcoming listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, Zhang Jianzhong, the company's founder, chairman, and CEO, highlighted that the rapid expansion of China's downstream AI application market has triggered a surge in demand for AI computing acceleration chips. This trend has attracted a multitude of chip manufacturers to venture into this burgeoning field.

Zhang emphasized that, at present, GPUs continue to hold a dominant position in the AI market. However, he also noted that other types of chips, such as ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits) and FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays), have successfully achieved commercialization and secured a notable market share.

Looking ahead, Zhang Jianzhong anticipates that with the relentless technological advancements of Chinese GPU companies, the market size for AI computing acceleration chips will experience rapid growth in the future.
