In a recent interview, Lip-Bu Tan, who has served as Intel's CEO since March this year, strongly refuted reports claiming that new Intel employees stole trade secrets from TSMC, stating that Intel respects the intellectual property of all chip companies. Earlier reports alleged that Luo Wei-Jen, TSMC's former Senior Vice President of R&D and Corporate Strategy Development, obtained core technical secrets, including TSMC's 2-nanometer process technology, before retiring and then joined Intel. In response, Lip-Bu Tan said these reports were purely rumors and speculation, completely unfounded.
